1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Concrete Form Calculator at concreteformcalc.com (the "Service"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Appco LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Concrete Form Calculator ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Appco LLC.

2. Description of the Service

Concrete Form Calculator is a web-based specialty tool that calculates the layout of concrete forming panels around the circumference of circular tanks and arced walls. The Service generates form counts, filler dimensions, layout diagrams, and downloadable PDF and CSV reports based on parameters you provide.

The Service requires an account and the purchase of credits to use the calculators. All calculations, exports, and other premium features consume credits as described in Section 5 below.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for use by professionals in the construction and contracting industry.

4. Accounts

4.1 Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address, first name, last name, and password. Company name is optional. You agree to provide accurate and complete information at signup and to keep your account information current.

4.2 Email Verification

You must verify your email address before accessing any paid calculator. We reserve the right to suspend or delete unverified accounts after a reasonable period of inactivity.

4.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@concreteformcalc.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4.4 One Account Per User

Accounts are issued to individual users. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account to avoid purchasing credits. We reserve the right to suspend accounts we believe are being shared or abused.

5. Credits and Payments

5.1 Credits Required

The Service operates on a prepaid credits system. All paid calculators require credits to run. You must purchase credits before using any paid feature.

5.2 Credit Packs

Credits are sold in fixed packs via Stripe. Current pricing is displayed on the Service and is subject to change. Credit pack purchases are one-time payments; the Service does not charge recurring subscription fees.

5.3 Credit Consumption

Each calculator deducts a fixed number of credits per use. The credit cost for each calculator is displayed before you submit a calculation. Credits are deducted at the time the calculation is processed, before results are returned.

PDF and CSV exports generated from a completed calculation do not incur additional credit charges.

5.4 Credits Do Not Expire

Purchased credits do not expire. They remain in your account until used or until your account is terminated.

5.5 No Refunds

All credit pack purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for purchased credits, whether used or unused. All sales are final.

If a technical error on our part causes credits to be incorrectly deducted without delivering a result, contact us at contact@concreteformcalc.com and we will investigate and, at our sole discretion, restore credits if the error is confirmed.

5.6 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By purchasing credits, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.

5.7 Right to Change Pricing and Credit Costs

We reserve the right to change credit pack prices and the credit cost of any calculator at any time, without prior notice. Pricing changes apply to future purchases only; credits you have already purchased are unaffected by any price change. The credit cost of any calculator may be changed at any time; the cost displayed at the moment you submit a calculation is the amount that will be deducted for that calculation. Your continued use of the Service following any pricing change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Professional Disclaimer: Limitation on Use of Results

THE OUTPUTS OF THIS SERVICE ARE PROVIDED AS A CALCULATION AID ONLY. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING ADVICE, AND THEY DO NOT SUBSTITUTE FOR THE JUDGMENT OF A LICENSED ENGINEER, CERTIFIED CONTRACTOR, OR OTHER QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL.

Concrete formwork design and construction involve significant safety considerations. The results generated by this Service (including form counts, filler dimensions, layout diagrams, PDF reports, and CSV exports) are mathematical calculations based solely on the inputs you provide. The Service:

  • Does not account for site conditions, soil, load requirements, construction methods, regional building codes, or applicable regulations
  • Does not verify that your inputs are accurate or appropriate for your specific project
  • Does not guarantee that following the calculated layout will result in a structurally sound or code-compliant installation

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL RESULTS BEFORE USING THEM ON ANY JOB SITE. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE'S OUTPUTS. We strongly recommend that all calculations be reviewed by a licensed professional engineer before implementation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to circumvent authentication, credit deduction, or any security measure of the Service
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or query the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the calculation logic or source code of the Service
  • Share your account with others to circumvent the credit system
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using or contacting us about the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its underlying infrastructure

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and calculation logic comprising the Service, including but not limited to the formwork layout algorithm, source code, user interface, reports, and documentation, is owned by Appco LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The formwork layout calculation algorithm is a proprietary trade secret of Appco LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to the underlying calculation logic or any other intellectual property of Appco LLC beyond the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

You retain ownership of any project-specific data you input into the Service (e.g., your tank dimensions). You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at contact@concreteformcalc.com. Upon account closure, any unused credits remaining in your account will be permanently forfeited. No refund will be issued for unused credits upon voluntary closure.

9.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account at any time, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in any of the following:

  • Fraudulent, abusive, or malicious use of the Service
  • Unauthorized access or attempted circumvention of authentication, credit deduction, or security controls
  • Manipulation, exploitation, or fraudulent redemption of promotional credits or any other credits
  • Use of automated tools or bots to access or abuse the Service
  • Any activity that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users

Upon termination for cause, all credits remaining in your account are permanently forfeited and no refund will be issued. A permanent ban may include blocking your email address, IP address, and any other identifiers associated with the abusive activity to prevent re-registration.

We may also discontinue the Service in whole or in part at any time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM SECURITY VULNERABILITIES. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CALCULATION OUTPUT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, APPCO LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ITS OUTPUTS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Appco LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your reliance on or implementation of any calculation output from the Service.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Appco LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings on that subject.
